This video shows the Glan Yr Afon Inn in Holywell. The Glan is a 16th Century Inn which has traditional and contemporary elements. The Glan has a beautiful restaurant serving fresh, good value, locally sourced food; a bar, serving traditional ales and a reasonably priced wine selection; a games room; a function room - for conferences, meetings and celebrations and also has a number of fully fittted, tradionally decorated rooms. The Glan looks out over the River Dee and sits above the famous Milwr Tunnel

May 21, 2007 - i worked a few nights at the glan, as a commy a few years back all the food was microwaved and straight out of break brothers. not worth it but still a nice pub shame about the spanish owner but he has got a nice german shepard which is always in the kitchen xxxx

Jul 13, 2007 - Great to see the Glan in this film!I lived in Milwr for 22 years and hold it very close to my heart,I now live in Barcelona and even though I love my life in Spain I do miss the area.Hope to come back for a visit soon.

Oct 9, 2007 - The owner has changed and they do fresh food wherever possible. Bit of a Spanish feel to some of the architecture and the rear patio. No German Shepherd but there is a cat called Nelson who you do not want to cross !!
