I said since Ike was the one that took her from a fate of being some forgotten choir singer in Mississippi to a superstar capable of owning a villa in France, she should have at least said a few words to that effect when he died. And no, her "Private Dancer" comeback period from '86-'96 was largely due to America, not Europe, not that that has to do with anything (she probably just got the idea from Mick Jagger who owns a place in France)
