mataolivier Says:
Aug 20, 2008 - What are you talking about?? I have been living in Japan and visited Mexico. I never seen women there to be obliged to sit at the back or train. Inequality between men and women is the bitter reality of Iran. There is no point in denying it! And yes, WE are all guilty!
parvaz347 Says:
Aug 20, 2008 - to Mr Mataolivier if you live in japan you should read papers more I read it in the newyorktimes( very important news paper in the world, never write something with out porve) that in japan because men were touching the women,as it is very crowded, they decided to sepreat woman from man with different wagon, or subway and in Mexico, i read articles and saw the pics) that women were very happy to seprat from men as men where touching them i love iran but that moive only shows dark face of iran
mataolivier Says:
Aug 21, 2008 - I lived in Japan and I believe I know their society much better than what any journalist of any newspaper is trying to show. Beside I strongly think you have misunderstood by the article. It is true that there some subways and trains in Japan that dedicate couple of wagons to women during the rush hours. But women are free to take any wagon they want. Like in any other democratic country, no one force you there to do something just because of your gender. Which is not the case in Iran.

Aug 21, 2008 - Anyway, you may find some example of discrimination against women in the world, but it does not legalize the inequality that exists in the Iran between women and men. BTW, im not mr but miss.

Sep 26, 2008 - [3] We need to just concentrate on the good, God, Gratitude, Love, and thank the Divine daily. That is the only answer we human can bring about to all the distractions created by our negativity and our focus on what it is not. We need to ONLY look for the good in others -- without being blind/acting stupid. Love your enemies. Do good to those who hurt you. Repeat I Love you, All day long. Read Zero Limits. We need become loving Humans, Again!
TomSolivin Says:
Sep 26, 2008 - [2] You never see any American (correctly!) make a movie about the horror of their culture .... but almost all Iranian movies are sad movies regarding a misfortune.... and that is why the culture in in the shape it is. The other day a guy was telling me how to park.... I jumped on him, telling him that all he does is to look at others mistake or how they can do it his way. I told him to look within and correct himself without looking for the imperfection in others .... and the story goes on.
TomSolivin Says:
Sep 26, 2008 - [1] The present Regime is a fashist regime, but... The sad part is that there are poor prostitutes all over the world; even during the shah's time when there was a city just for prostitutes. There are prostitutes all over the USA, in very bad conditions. There are poor people and more than 3 million children who sleep hungry every night in USA, too -- no movies made! But the Iranian culture always picks on the negativity of themselves, their relatives, their friend.... and their culture.

auriga9999 Says:

fayrouz2008 Says:
Nov 25, 2008 - nothing wrong with iranians practicing islam as long as it's too fundamental but at the end of the day during the shah of irans time enogh women and children were tortured
