Dec 23, 2008 - I agree with alexj49--KD Lang's performance of "Crying" at the Ed Sullivan Theater was by far the best rendition of this beautiful Orbison ballad. Her sensitive and passionate interpretation combined with her deliberate choice in singing the song in a slower tempo moved me beyond words the first time I saw the video. Sadly, Viacom cried a river to get the video removed, so now we can't enjoy it. GG stupid corporation asshats.

Dec 23, 2008 - The video you're referring to is an acoustic performance of the ballad at a December 1992 gig @ the Ed Sullivan Theater. Truly, a golden moment and absolutely unforgettable, even more poignant than what's readily available on youtube. Unfortunately, the 1992 video alone got less than 10k hits.:( At least those who saw it are able to attest of just how incredibly moving the performance was and how, for a few minutes of audio/visual pleasure, one can feel pure heaven and bliss.
