Jan 2, 2009 - I wish i could see his feet while playing. Is he using some Fx? I'm not sure, looks like he is steping the pedals only when the song finished. crazy masterpiece....

TimsTunes Says:
Jan 2, 2009 - Having been a fan of Mr Manring's since the Windham Hill days in the early 80's & with his work on Michael Hedges CD's/Attention Defecit/Equillibre/Scott Gill,Vic Stevens-Controlled By Radar/At War With Self & any other disc that Mr Manring improved by adding bass to it. (2 B Continued)
TimsTunes Says:
Jan 2, 2009 - I waited until 1995 to see him live in Montreal Canada at "Bass Fest" where his performance was astounding & had to wait until this show in Toronto with Don Ross & Andy McKee to see him again & it was well worth the wait. If you are unfamiliar with these 3 musicians, do yourself a favour & buy the DVD. These are 3 of the best in the world & true innovators on their respective instruments. Thank you for sharing your brilliant gifts with us all guys. Kindest regards, T as in Tremendous TalenT

Jan 4, 2009 - I really think its incredible that he can keep that much very intense emotion in a song when he is having to do that much technical work....its a testiment to his dedication to his craft...he truely is an artist in all senses of the word. Very much underrated and under apreciated...I mean not many could keep up with hedges (another under rated artist)

Jan 6, 2009 - Michael Manring is as phenominal on bass as Michael Hedges is guitar. Its crazy to think that they played together so much. Amazing music. Bass Guitar can make music

Jan 7, 2009 - So, is he detuning then retuning throughout the song, or is there some sort of mechanism he's using? Overall it's an exquisite piece!
