Jan 7, 2009 - A guess, but I imagine two things: 1) he was the only American guy they interviewed, so perhaps the difference in accent/manner was enough to lessen the suggestibility involved and 2) he was very cautious and skeptical right from the beginning -- just look at his face at the start and end of it. I imagine the defensiveness guards one against suggestibility.
