Dec 22, 2008 - i think they should have done aragorn vs the witchking that is the annoying of making a movie of a book no freedom
KellorKleft Says:
Dec 24, 2008 - Good thing they took that out. It's impossible to obtain physical form without the ring.
Mehow80 Says:
Dec 24, 2008 - I really like this concept. They made many different adaptations and changes in the move therefore I feel that it would be justified to have Sauron vs Aragorn II. It really made me upset that Sauron was just that giant eyeball and that this MAIN character is pushed aside.
tustruman Says:
Dec 27, 2008 - it's called respect for the original artist.
kattekind Says:
Dec 28, 2008 - i know but it is a little bit true
chazmatic Says:
Dec 29, 2008 - That happened in the book too. Only Aragorn won.
chazmatic Says:
Dec 29, 2008 - I didn't mean that. The comment was meant to be a response to another comment but it appeared at the top. I'M NOT DUMB.
Hektor88 Says:
Dec 30, 2008 - Sauron DID have a physical form without the ring. The whole "Eye of Sauron" being a literal thing was an invention of Peter JAcksons
Zousmeister Says:
Dec 30, 2008 - Wrong THE EYE is in Tolken Books it's acc Tolken's ideea of the Big Eye since eyes can see anything even the soul. Thus making Sauron the perfect candidate for the ultimate evil. So again Big Eye thing wasn't invented by P.Jackson> Read the Book's bro!!! P.Jackson did a great Job by keeping as much from the books to the movie even the Balrog fight is identical.About Sauron mortal body and who he was before I recomend seeing the upper video.
Zousmeister Says:
Dec 30, 2008 - 1:19 <<<
dlzoidberg Says:
Dec 30, 2008 - Morgoth was as evil, and more powerful.
charlesdcw1990 Says:
Dec 31, 2008 - That scene would have been badass though!
KellorKleft Says:
Jan 1, 2009 - By physical form I mean his original form before he was defeated. There's a reason he exploded after the ring was cut off from him. He lost his power, or at least most of it.
Manas10101 Says:
Jan 2, 2009 - I've heard of this, that they had Sauron, but then suddenly scrapped the idea and modeled him over with a big troll. I don't really care that they took it out, but that still would've been SO AWSOME to see that fight. I can understand how that they didn't do it though since it's not in the book. Also, if you look at some other videos (or some other site) you can find the original design/concept for the Witch-King. They changed him because originally he looked too similar to Sauron.
Thornquist Says:
Jan 2, 2009 - This is really interesting.
Maverz290 Says:
Jan 3, 2009 - I know about the whole stay true to the book...but its a movie... it wasnt exactly 100% accurate to the book anyway, Haldir died for example, if you can kill off a good character then surely you could've put this part in? It would've made the ending more tense.
stevenmanu85 Says:
Jan 3, 2009 - the eye of sauron was a medephore it was not real, The Eye of Sauron was a term Tolkien used simply because Sauron had spies everywhere, There was no eye wreathed in flame.
stevenmanu85 Says:
Jan 3, 2009 - and he did have a physical form in the book when gollum was held at bara dur torchered it was sauron himself torchering gollum this was the exact quote, gollum tells Frodo that Sauron has at least a Black Hand with four fingers. The missing finger is a sustained injury from when Isildur cut off the Ring, apparently Sauron then lost part of his basic template for a humanoid form, so that the finger was still missing when he materialized a new body centuries later.
monster0music Says:
Jan 4, 2009 - do you see this in the extendid adition
dynastyxl Says:
Jan 4, 2009 - still cool though with the eye thing
stevenmanu85 Says:
Jan 4, 2009 - na the eye of sauron when jackson makes it out that is saurons new form makes sauron look weak, I doubt a fiery eyeball makes sauron an all powerful dark lord and a fear which is how he built his reputation in the third age, when sauron was used in the fellowship of the ring it realy made him feel like a precence, it is better when bara-dur and the eye is not seen physically clearly but used through the ring flashbacks and the palantir that is propably how tolkien wanted sauron used.
vitakinesis Says:
Jan 6, 2009 - i little respect for 50 years of hard work to tolkien ! ty god you dont put that fight in the movie! sauron cant get fisical body because he donut have the ring... if in the movie he get the body thats means he have the rings and thats is a bullshit.
stevenmanu85 Says:
Jan 6, 2009 - wow isnt that amazing you not wanting the main villian in the movie which is the reason why the movie had such a gapping hole, the way the movie went was designed for sauron to appear at the black gates, what you were saying is sauron did not have a body well if you ment that then is tosh, sauron did have a body in the book that is fact read my posts I have posted just now, and I have done my rsearch which does point out sauron did have a physical body gollom said four fingers on the black hand.
vitakinesis Says:

Dec 20, 2008 - When Frodo gets corrupted and refuses to destroy the ring, it alerts Sauron who is fighting Aragorn. So he turns around and tries to make a run for the mountain, but Aragorn stabs his sword right into Sauron's chest. However he doesn't blow up, instead he smacks Aragorn to his back, pins him down and is preparing to deliver the final blow when the ring is destroyed and he blows up just the way he blows up in the prolouge. That's in the story board
