Dec 1, 2008 - exactly i would hope paying that much more than a gt youd be able to do better
wasp010 Says:
Dec 1, 2008 - If you can get into Dodge's style, they rock. They make just about any kind of car you could want. A Mustang GT has an 11.1 pounds per horsepower ratio. A Camaro SS has a 9.2 pounds per horsepower ratio. True, the Mustang weighs less but not enough to make up the power difference. There's over 100 horsepower difference between the two! And the Camaro's advantage is only going to grow when the road gets twisty with better brakes, suspension, and weight distribution.
eobauto2005 Says:
Dec 1, 2008 - all i have to say to that is the power may not be enough to make up the difference but the price tag is
MOTOFRANK2 Says:
Dec 2, 2008 - only 15 hp?....still 5 speed?....still 4.6?.....my next pony will be the 2010 chevy camaro
wasp010 Says:
Dec 2, 2008 - Ehhh doubt it. The new Mustang STARTS at $21,XXX. Thats $3,000 more than last year. For the same car except the body and interior. So the new Mustang GT will start somewhere around $26K maybe $27K. Lets say you supercharge the Mustang and produce 420 horsepower and you somehow manage to invest no more than $30K (car included). You won't have as much torque as the SS, you mpg took a nice hit, your suspension and brakes still suck, lifespan is shortened, etc. Sorry dude. Camaro ftw.
eobauto2005 Says:
Dec 2, 2008 - i wasnt talking about the camaro i was talking about the challanger
wasp010 Says:
Dec 2, 2008 - Yeah the SRT8 is WAY overpriced. Well...I'm sure its worth the money, but for an extra $3K you could have a 430 bhp Corvette that weighs 1/3 less. The Challenger is an uber cool car, but I'd never buy one. There are just too many better options at $40K.

Dec 3, 2008 - i wanna see 2010 or 2011 cobra...
weekiller87 Says:
Dec 3, 2008 - there supose to becomn out with the 3.8 or .5 what ever turbo v6 and the new 5.0
INeverDie99 Says:
Dec 3, 2008 - they said that about this new mustang (2010) but these bastards just added an intake. and we all know were still going to change that piece anyways.i was so anticipated in buying this new body hoping it would be at least 350hp but im not going for it...im pretty sure a cobra svt is in the works
phillips13 Says:
Dec 4, 2008 - the only problem with spending 3k more for a corvette is that there is a bow tie on the front and any true ford lover knows that's just red zone/no fly zone... i would spend 50k on a mustang at 350 hp give or take before i'd spend 43k on a 430hp vette
wasp010 Says:
Dec 4, 2008 - Chevy's small block V8's are beyond bullet proof. I don't care for Mustangs, but I know the engines in them are solid and very conservative (they're able to run on regular pump gas for christs sake). Can you name a real reason why you wouldn't buy a Chevy other than they're not for your tastes?
joshfournier Says:
Dec 4, 2008 - Once you go Z all others are pee.
ENEMY2K7 Says:
Dec 7, 2008 - I hope Csaba (guy in the video) is right about the car having a Buillitt engine. I know that the Bullit motor redlines at 6,500 rpm and has a different crank dampener. I could not tell in the video whether or not the redline is at 6,500 rpm. I hope Ford is not BS-ing us about that one. The front looks good, interior looks very good, the rear end... it may grow on me. If the GT starts at the same price as it did in 2009, its a deal. Ford is willing to deal, not like some other manufactures.
elmogowild Says:
Dec 7, 2008 - this dude on the vid is right way better than the 08
07truth Says:
Dec 7, 2008 - Base 2010 V6 Camaro 300hp at 22,995, base "GT" stang 315hp will start at $27,xxx,its really a no brainer as far as best bang for your buck.BUT where Ford usually wins is in the AFTERMARKET. The mustang will continue to have the largest aftermarket out and you can do anything to it at cheaper prices!
andrestnt Says:
Dec 10, 2008 - thebullitt mustang computer can tell if you put in 91 octane gas and gives you about 5 to 7 hp extra
5999cc Says:
Dec 12, 2008 - In Ford racing parts I found two packages that together add 105hp to the engine. Naturally aspirated 405hp, imagine that
pwnedrz0 Says:
Dec 13, 2008 - thank you. Ur my new best friend
IrishEyez01 Says:
Dec 18, 2008 - I want one!
cabuco2006 Says:
Dec 21, 2008 - every time i see this car the more i fall in love with it more than previous generation. i dint think id like it at first but after seeing the upgrades in horse power and styling is kinda retro but looks bad ass at the same time. Great job ford keep up the great work and continue to impress me and other enthusiests and ford fans.
bluesteal0 Says:
