Dec 15, 2008 - Have you tried casting on a bit looser? Or trying another cast-on method? I have another video showing the knitted cast-on, perhaps that will help. I can't really say what it is for sure without seeing it, though.

Dec 15, 2008 - Well, casting on is just how to get the knitting started and then you use different stitches (knit, purl, etc) to make up a design. But there are many methods to cast on - this video just demonstrates one of those methods.

Dec 24, 2008 - i'm trying so hard but I can't tell if I am doing it right I get the cast on and I think the first row, but them it seems kinda upside down and the 2nd row just isn't happening. ahh. I can crochet but I figured I'd learn how to knit too, but it's hard so far
