Nov 28, 2008 - SiteAdvisor is pretty good, though some of the ratings are stupid. I personally use AVG 7.5, AVG 8 is out now but AVG8, well, plain sucks. It causes my router to crash. I like McAfee but since I don't need to spend money to get good virus protection I won't. I've used Avast and it isn't very good. It failed to update and failed to scan for no reason. Norton is also a huge pile of shit. Norton blocks the internet and actually downloads viruses.
