Jan 3, 2009 - I couldn't help but notice that in all the end of 2008 nostalgic montages about who we lost this year on the news & in magazines they kind of skimmed through Carlin's impact & his life. They concentrated more on Paul Newman & Heath Ledger; I don't know about u guys but I think George had if not more or at least as much of an impact as those guys. Carlin totally changed the way people did comedy; & his longevity; he was doing it for 40 years; he wasn't just a comedian he was the definition of it.
