Nov 14, 2008 - games based on chance are haram, its like playing monopoly or with cards and you guys make up a game that deals with haram and with islam istarfiullah, you might learn about the religion while playing it but youre doing haram in same time thats just bad!! When i say chance i mean like when you just randomly pass out the cards and when someone randomly pick a card!

Dec 26, 2008 - just because something is drawn randomly it doesnt mean its haram. The Prophet Yunus(A) when he was on the ship they drew lots. That is random. So I don't think its haram since a prophet had done it. Plus, this is for Islamic knowledge and education not for gambling purposes so in my opinion I don't think it is haram brother. Salaam :]
