Together -- national geographic, IPCC, UN and UN Foundation -- have produced a new short film outlining the facts, showing the impacts and providing a way forward in combating catastrophic climate change. Watch this call to action for world leadership on climate change. It's a moving tribute to the UN scientific reports that erased any doubt over global warming's existence, and helped shove climate change to the top of the international agenda.

Mar 14, 2008 - Are you talking about making the ocean absorb the CO2 so it doesn't get into the atmosphere? It's really hard to understand what you mean on how you are wording things!! How on earth can you do nuclear fushion with co2 that is already emitted into the atmosphere???
stacycass Says:
Mar 14, 2008 - There is 0.00037% CO2 in the air - which goes up in an ice age! My blgo tells you how to do nuclear fusion, power with no CO2: Global WArming so isn't true! Bt we want safe, cheap, clean power. I am not the stupid one here!
Gheete88 Says:
Mar 14, 2008 - stacycass, it doesn't matter what the percentage of Co2 is in the air. It matters how how much CO2 has been added to the atmosphere in comparison to the past. Combined with other greenhouse gases, that % is even higher. Ever since the industrial revolution, CO2 emission has rised dramatically which explains the sudden warming of the earth. And whats "fusion" got to do with the topic? We are talking about what is causing global warming here!!!
JonThm Says:
Mar 14, 2008 - Lets do nuclear fusion from water, like teh deep sea does! Sell all your oil shares today!

Mar 17, 2008 - How do we know it´s not just the way of things?Millions of years ago Antartica was a forest.Creatures then were adapted to that hot earth..how do we know nature hasn´t just decided it´s time for a new change again and a new species?Or do we humans assume nature will never change things ever again because humans are here....??
AlucardPR Says:
Apr 1, 2008 - Some of the comments here disgust me. Those of you that don't believe in global warming (regardless of the video) are you guys implying that industries should keep up throwing gasses at the atmosphere? That cars should keep running on gas? Come on! Don't think about the video for a moment, think about it in an economical way...Do you still think like a moment before?
MagentaTrue Says:
Apr 9, 2008 - "I have learned since the Ice Age is coming scare in the 1970's to always be a skeptic about research. In the case of global warming, I didn't accept media accounts. Instead I read dozens of the scientific papers. I have talked with numerous scientists. I have studied.... I know I am correct when I assure you there is no run away climate change. The impact of humans on climate is not catastrophic. It is all a scam, the result of bad science" --John Coleman --Founder, The Weather Channel

But we'll see." --Prof. Syun-Ichi Akasofu -Director(ret.2007), IARC, Fairbanks, Alaska (International Artic Research Center - the worlds leading arctic research institute

Jun 2, 2008 - Magenta is listing off for us all the people who sold out to big-oil, I think. When 99% of climate experts provide nearly irrefutable evidence that we are in deep sh*t, I'll take their word any day over that of some corporate-whore sell-outs who think we should just keep doing what we've been doing.

Jun 10, 2008 - believe it or not,the fact is global warming is truly happenning! if we ignore it,u'll see. some day when the earth is pissed and it will shake us off!
athenascurse Says:
Jul 4, 2008 - global warming isn't coming mostly from the air tho, its stuck deep in the earth because of the trash and pesticides we use. so yes i strongly encourage more air and energy issues to be taken care of, but what about the oil spills the landfills, the trash that isn't biodegradable? the countries in need of cleaning, cities etc...

Jul 25, 2008 - The question is a simple one: Could citizens, companies, states, economic & political unions of states, institutions and ong's do something in order to reverse the climate change or to mitigate its effects on people and nature lives, balance and development? Yes or not? If yes, we should, must, ought to do it each of us at our level of capacity to assist with this matter! A check list of doing and not doing should be discussed and recommended. Please, what do you think?

Aug 25, 2008 - So?The world has been doing it for a hundred years.Hell even oil was discover in America during the eighteenenth century and been using it since and the ice capes are not even melting quikly.
john3427 Says:
Aug 25, 2008 - MontyPython134, I am surprised that a high school dropout (you) knows more about climate change than hundreds of scientists with PhDs. And oil wasn't "discovered" in America. What do you think? It has been used for hundreds of years! Duh!

Sep 27, 2008 - Look at the most fortune companies in the world! Oil companies and the car manufacturers! I am 100% sure that the oil companies are dictating the car manufacturers what kind of gas consumption they are looking for in a car. Oil companies are EVIL!
